The Elks Veteran Support
As part of our national program the Red Hook Rhinebeck Elks plays it's part in local veteran support.
Our Part
Elks pledge "So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them." The Elks National Veterans Service Commission takes that pledge one step further by promising service to our nation's veterans and military members, with a special focus on those in need.
Veterans BBQ
Thanks for your generosity! We are grateful for your donation and membership support, which allows us to host our local Veterans for a fun-filled summer BBQ every year. Your contribution helps us continue to honor and appreciate the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women. We couldn't do it without your help. Thank you so much for your support!
Winter Dinner
We also coordinate a winter dinner around the holidays to raise the spirits of our visiting Veterans from hospitals or homes when the funds are available. Our members volunteer their time during this busy time of year, and we also welcome donations of socks, playing cards, and books to give as gifts. We are so grateful for your contribution to our mission of honoring our Veterans. Thank you again for being a part of this important cause.
